Tristan Lohner rozpoczął swoją karierę dyplomem Arts & Crafts w zakresie stolarstwa. Kształcił się pod okiem Bernarda DAUDE, stolarza Pierre'a PAULINA i Mobilier National. Następnie uczęszczał do Ecole des Arts Décoratifs w Paryżu, gdzie brał lekcje z projektowania produktów u Jeana-Marie MASSAUDA. Następnie dołączył do Grupy RBC, której salony meblowe zostały zaprojektowane przez Philippe'a STARCK'a, Antonio CITTERIO, Christophe'a PILLETA, Piero LISSONIEGO i Jean Marie MASSAUD’a.
Kieruje wieloma globalnymi projektami deweloperskimi rezydencji i luksusowych hoteli. Tristan Lohner jest obecnie dyrektorem RBC Design Center. Ten imponujący concept store o powierzchni 2500 metrów kwadratowych jest całkowicie poświęcony designowi, a zaprojektowany został przez samego Jeana NOUVEL'a.
