brand is inspired by nature and traditional craftsmanship from distant corners of the world. The result is unique, eye-catching, hand-made lamps and accessories.
They are made in small craft workshops in Asia, Africa and South America. The creative process is based on the collaboration of designers and local artists. This allows to deepen the knowledge of raw materials, discover the best craftsmanship techniques and introduce innovative solutions.
The entire collection of the brand is produced with the methods used for generations, from natural local materials, with respect for the environment, including natural rattan, bamboo or palm trees, as well as recycled materials. It is complemented by noble fabrics handcrafted from organic cotton, cashmere, silk and sisal fibers. Dyeing, like the entire manufacturing process, is done in a traditional way, using natural raw materials.
The activity of the Ay illuminate brand is not only about searching for inspiration and producing in exotic places. Equally important is preserving local craftsmanship as part of their cultural identity, supporting local communities by providing permanent employment, and caring for the environment.
