Pascal Mourge był francuskim projektantem, urodzony w 1943 roku, zmarł 6 grudnia 2014 roku. Absolwent Ecole Boulle i Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs w Paryżu. Jest autorem wielu, godnych uwagi projektów w zakresie meblarstwa.
Pracując jako projektant przemysłowy przez ostatnie 25 lat, swoją karierę budował poza centrum uwagi mediów. Jego produkty, coraz liczniejsze i coraz bardziej międzynarodowe w swoim zasięgu, odzwierciedlają ciągłe pragnienie nowoczesności i prostoty. Równie dużą wagę przykłada do funkcjonalności jak i estetyki swoich produktów. Pracował również jako rzeźbiarz i ma na swoim koncie liczne wystawy swoich prac na całym świecie (wystawy „La Mémoire de l'Eau” (pamięć wody) i „Brûlures de Terre” (spalona ziemia)).
Jego prace były wielokrotnie nagradzane. Zdobył m.in.
1984: Tytuł Designer Roku na Międzynarodowej Wystawie Mebli w Paryżu.
1985: Pierwsza nagroda w konkursie Fundacji Cartier’a za kolekcję Lune d’Argent oraz “Grand Prix de la Création” za biurko Face à Face.
1992: Ponownie zdobył tytuł Designera roku. Nagroda Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris.
1995 : Międzynarodowa nagroda Red Dot Award za innowacyjny projekt - fotel Calin.
1996 : “Grand Prix National de la Création Industrielle” nagroda francuskiego Ministerstwa Kultury.
1998 : “Prix du Nombre d’Or du Mobilier Contemporain”, nagroda na Międzynarodowej Wystawie Mebli w Paryżu za prace dla marki Fermob.
Jego najbardziej rozpoznawalne projekty dla marki Fermob to kolekcje: Alizé, Croisette, Dune, Face a Face czy Rendez-Vous.
