Privacy and Cookies Policy
Last updated: 24 September 2026
This page explains what cookies are, which ones we use and how you can decide about them. Full information about how we process personal data is in our privacy policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit our website. Some of them disappear when you close your browser, these are session cookies. Others stay on your device and let us recognise your browser on your next visit, these are persistent cookies. The storage period of each one is given in the cookie settings panel.
Three groups of cookies
Necessary. They keep the store working: they remember the contents of your cart, your login session, the language you chose, and they protect forms against abuse. We set them on the basis of our legitimate interest, because without them the store does not function. These cannot be switched off.
Statistics. They show us which pages are visited and where people run into trouble, so we know what to improve.
Marketing. They let us show you our products on other websites and measure whether our advertising works.
The last two groups are set only after you have given your consent.
How to decide about cookies
On your first visit we show a banner where you choose which groups you accept. Consent is managed by CookieFirst, provided by Digital Data Solutions B.V. of Amsterdam.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer of every page. There you will also find the full list of cookies set by our providers, together with their purposes and storage periods.
Cookies can also be deleted or blocked directly in your browser. Instructions are on the help pages of Microsoft Edge, Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Opera. Blocking the necessary cookies will stop parts of the store from working, including the shopping cart.
Third-party providers
Once you consent to statistics and marketing cookies, we use tools from the following companies:
- Google Ireland Limited, Dublin: Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager, for visit statistics and for measuring and serving our advertising
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Dublin: the Meta Pixel, for measuring our advertising on Facebook and Instagram
- Pinterest Europe Limited, Dublin: for measuring our advertising on Pinterest
Regardless of consent, the following run for security and service purposes: Google reCAPTCHA, which protects our forms, hCaptcha used within the Stripe payment flow, and the Zoho SalesIQ live chat.
Some of these companies belong to groups with entities in the United States and your data may be transferred there. Such transfers are covered either by the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where the recipient is certified under it, or by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, together with additional safeguards.
