Hacienda Crafts not only employs the workers of sugar cane farms and their families,  but also saves local crafts from oblivion. The owners of the company - the Gaston family - have also been involved in the cultural development of the local community for generations by providing music education for the children of their employees or organizing music and dance festivals.
