Le Klint — history and tradition

The story of LE KLINT dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, when architect and engineer P.V. Jensen-Klint folded the first pleated lampshade from parchment for his own home around 1900. His sons Tage and Kaare Klint refined the design and founded the company in Odense in 1943 — where production still takes place today. Every Le Klint lamp is made by hand by skilled craftspeople at the brand's own Danish workshop. This is artisan craftsmanship, not mass production.
