Jej projekty cechuje prostota i funkcjonalność, która stała się myślą przewodnią jej twórczości. “Projektuję przedmioty, które coś dla mnie znaczą. Moim podstawowym celem jest znalezienie jasnego argumentu uzasadniającego funkcję przedmiotu, nad którym pracuję. Funkcjonalność jest podstawą. Jeśli nie mogę sformułować dobrego powodu dla stworzenia nowego produktu, lepiej się z tego wycofać.”- mówi Cecile Manz.
